Untamed Lands

Synopsis:

A down-and-out drifter reluctantly becomes the only hope for the nomadic tribes of ancient Ireland as they're drawn into the battle between the teenage goddess who rules Erin and the nature-loving order of men who have given her the title, Nightmare.

But out in the Untamed Lands, the order, dubbed Hoods by the tribes, argue about how to achieve their goals, the tribes have begun to fight each other for food, and Mora, daughter of the sun and moon, is obsessed with getting a crystal that will increase her power immeasurably. And the drifter, Crow, has problems of his own to deal with before he can help anybody.

The Production

Untamed Lands is a 10 part mini-series (30 mins each) produced by Valley Wind Productions and shot on location in the Ottawa Valley, Canada. The series was shot May-September 2008 and is currently in post-production. It is set for release as 20 webisodes starting mid-2009.

Featuring a cast of 30, including seven leads, Untamed Lands is set in ancient Ireland and blends serious drama and fast-paced action with contemporary wit and humour on its way to an epic, conclusive showdown.
